SINOPSIS /SYNOPSIS

ESPAÑOL

Budha, es uno de los tantos niños que viven en los Campos de Refugiados Saharauis. Una tarde, decide dejar de jugar al fútbol con sus amigos, y alejarse del pueblo para jugar en el desierto. Día tras día, Budha se obsesiona cada vez más con la arena, que tras ella, esconde un pequeño secreto.

ENGLISH

Budha is one of the many children living in Refugee Camps for Sahrawi. One afternoon, he decides to stop playing football with his friends to play in the desert, far away from the village. Day after day, Budha is increasingly obsessed with the sand, which hides a little secret.

BIOFILMOGRAFÍA DIRECTOR

Nace en Rosario, Argentina, en 1985. En 2002 emigra a España, donde comienza a estudiar guión y dirección en la escuela de cine Metrópolis de Madrid. Allí conoce a Santiago Rindel, con quien forma tándem, y co-dirige sus primeros cuatro cortometrajes. En 2008 funda la productora de cine independiente Delático Films, mediante la cual, filma varios proyectos, entre ellos Arena fértil, rodado íntegramente en los campos de refugiados saharauis.

 DIRECTOR’S BIOFILMOGRAPHY

Born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1985. In 2002 he emigrated to Spain, where he started studying screenwriting and directing at film school in Madrid Metropolis. There he meets Santiago Rindel, whom he made a tandem with and co-directed his first four films. In 2008 he founded the independent film production Delático Films, through which, filmed several projects, including Fertile Sand, shot entirely in the Sahrawi refugee camps.
